Our group, Great Minds & Dirty Martinis is an awesome group of women who get together on a monthly basis in mid-Michigan. It is a very dynamic group with different cultures, viewpoints and occupations represented. A few women started it and it continued to grow. The host picks the book and serves up a delicious dinner with amazing drinks! We get together once a month and have an attendance of anywhere from 8 – 15. My book selection for this month is “The Timekeeper.” We are getting together tonight to discuss it; I did find a study guide so it will be an exciting discussion! Of course with our group of women, we will cover many topics and continue to solve the world issues! 🙂 Have a great day, Mina

Hello Great Minds–
I hope the martinis were dirty and the discussion of The Time Keeper fruitful on Saturday. Let me know how it went!
Your friend,
Mitch
Hello Mitch! Book Club went great – the martinis were awesome and our discussion was very riveting. Many topics were initiated from your book such as: would we want to live indefinitely, what little things can we do to “slow time down”, how to appreciate what we have…One of my favorite quotes I shared with the group is “Be Where You Are” because sometimes it does take focus to not get distracted and stay in the present. Anyway, enjoyed your book! Mina
I don’t have a reading group but what a good idea for the host to have dinner and drinks. Margaritas or Daiquiris would be my idea. (ha)
That sounds great too!
Hi Mitch,
My mistake but I thought you scheduled for book signing at Spring Lake, MI NOT Spring Lake NJ tonight?! Lol I looked at you calendar over one month ago and did not notice the state difference. Anyway, friends and I from bookclub were disappointed but thought we’d share the funny story. Please feel free to come to Spring Lake Michigan by Lake Michigan!! Maybe we could have you join our bookclub BABBS for teleconference…in Jan.?
Sorry we missed you!
