I have always enjoyed the holidays. Never did I not enjoy them nor did my husband and myself have issues about what to buy, where to spend our time ect.. It is too bad that others do. I never got a present that I didn’t like. I think you have to be thoughtful in selecting what to buy and also use wise judgement of what you can afford to buy. I never had those issues. I know my mother was the only one that the holidays never lived up to her expectations of what they should be. I always made time for her and took her around to shop for others ect.. I think the time I spent with her was always something she appreciated but also she felt bad because she knew it took time away from my husband and son. Later on I was her caregiver for the most part. I never grumbled about being the one to take care of my parents. It was just something that needed to be done and it became my job to do. Have a wonderful holiday season. Mine will be quieter this year. My family went to Disney World and we won’t be celebrating until New Years Eve but that is alright. It will be nice as I have Christmas Eve and Christmas Day off and will have a nice dinner at home this year.
