About This Episode
“To err is human; to forgive divine.” But what if the person who hurt you most refuses to apologize or express any regret? That’s the question haunting Manhattan journalist, and today’s guest, Susan Shapiro as they discuss her latest book, “The Forgiveness Tour: How to Find the Perfect Apology.” On this new year episode of the Tuesday People podcast, host Mitch Albom and Susan Shapiro dig deep into how to ask for forgiveness, how to apologize, how to forgive others for past transgressions, and how to lift this often very heavy weight off your shoulders. The perfect way to ring in 2021!
I always forgive. I can’t hold grudges for long however I have gotten apologies but they really don’t get what they did in the first place. I have found that people are much ruder and to them it is normal to be that way. As I get older I really feel I can’t tolerate it. So I tend to forgive but back away.
