About This Episode
It’s December. And for many that means the Holiday Blahs are knocking at your door. That sadness that rolls around at this time of the year hiding behind shiny wrapping paper and every commercial selling diamonds and cars and gifts that are unattainable to most. Though happy holiday songs may send the message of “the most wonderful time of the year,” for many, it’s not. On today’s episode of the Tuesday People podcast, Mitch Albom, along with producer Lisa Goich, discusses ways for you to get through the holidays without the pressure of having to be as jolly as old St. Nick. Morrie Schwartz will also weigh in with words of wisdom to take you from blah to…ahhhhhh.

Feeling the #holiday blues already? You won't find it in shiny gifts, but you will find it in learning the meaning of #givingisliving, as Morrie taught us. Listen: https://t.co/Xvo37C9st2#TuesdayPeople #tuesdayswithmorrie #podcast pic.twitter.com/SGiIf2CEXW

Thankfully I do not have any holiday blahs. I have listened to people before that have had them. I am a good listener though and you are right focusing on others needs can help oneself. That is true. You like me are similar in that we need to be needed. You thrive on helping the kids at the orphanage. It keeps you focused and busy. So if makes you feel better by doing these things. During this different kind of year you have had the opportunity to spend more time there and help them even more and it gives you great joy to do so.
Good luck Thursday at the Radiothon. I will miss being there in person. I will be watching.
