About This Episode

Have you ever really had a teacher? One who saw you as a raw but precious thing, a jewel that, with wisdom, could be polished to a proud shine? If you are lucky enough to find your way to such teachers, you will always find your way back. As host Mitch Albom drops his teens from “Have Faith Haiti” off at college, we reflect on the luck, or destiny, of finding a special professor like Morrie. And the importance of seeking one out in our educational experiences.

I use to have a few teachers who were quite good. I went to their house and they were quite nice. Morrie’s job was to mold his Mitchie into someone that he wanted to be the best that he could be. For sure you are.

My Brother was like Morrie, his students meant a lot to him and he enjoyed teaching them and many still kept in touch with him over the years and after his retirement and at his memorial service. Loved by so many and such an inspiration❤️
