About This Episode
With the passing of our 100th episode, we are circling back to the very beginning, starting with that fateful day at Brandeis University when Mitch stepped foot into Morrie Schwartz’s classroom for the first time. Mitch – reading from the pages of “Tuesdays With Morrie” – takes you back to those moments that became, not only the best selling memoir of all time, but this podcast you’re listening to today.
Back to your beginning with Morrie. He was a good mentor for you. For me it was working with a retirement community for years. I enjoyed all of them and they had shared experiences and gave me some advice right along. I was glad I did that for time. It was rewarding job. The teachers I had were good and I did well in school but they didn’t go out of their way for me to go the extra mile. I did well in school and got a 3.83GPA in college.
We all make choices and I had chosen to take care of my husband and I worked full time. I could of never let that go. If I had at the time more support for nursing school I may of finished. Too much on my plate at the time. It all turned out fine though. Covid really has ramped through the hospitals. Life may of been quite different if I had finished nursing school and had to of worked during the pandemic. Who knows how that may of ended.
