An Evening with Mitch Albom
About this event
Tuesdays with Morrie, The Five People you Meet in Heaven, Finding Chika, Human Touch and, most recently, The Stranger in the Lifeboat (a novel of faith and hope) – these are just a few of the inspiring stories created by best-selling author and humanitarian Mitch Albom. Join CHI St. Joseph Children’s Health on March 15, 2022, as we welcome Mr. Albom to Lancaster to join our Conversations about Healthy Communities series and explore the nature of healthy communities with community leaders.
Learning from Mr. Albom’s experiences – both personal and professional – the conversation will explore his vision of a healthy community, the struggles and successes he has witnessed as communities have worked toward healthier, more empowering cultures, and his thoughts on how communities can strive to create environments where every child, resident and family can thrive.
Mr. Albom follows previous conversations in this series by former HUD Secretary Julián Castro, former RNC Chair and Maryland Lt. Governor Michael Steele, Chef and Humanitarian José Andrés, former UN Ambassador and Pulitzer Prize-winning author Samantha Power, and American priest, writer and LGBTQ advocate Father James Martin, SJ.
Time: 5:30PM VIP Reception (VIP ticket required); 7:30PM Conversation (A book signing will follow immediately after the Conversation)
VIP ticket holders will have the opportunity to meet Mr. Albom in a more intimate setting at a pre-lecture reception. Hors d’oeuvres and beverages will be provided.
Location: VIP Reception: Columbia Market House, 15 S. Third Street, Columbia, PA 17512 ; Conversation: St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 340 Locust Street, Columbia, PA 17512. Locations are adjacent.
