At the New York City Starbucks store on Park Avenue and 29th, Mitch Albom’s "For One More Day" was launched as the first selection in Starbucks’ new campiagn to carry and encourage books of excellence. Before a packed store crowd of more than 200 people, Albom spoke and took questions about his new book, "For One More Day." The book is now offered at Starbucks stores nationwide, as are reading guides and suggested questions. The campaign will peak with a special event on October 26th that will attempt what is believed to be the largest single book club day in history: 25 cities will feature discussions at selected Starbucks stores about "For One More Day" and Albom will speak with each city, via phone, at some point during their event.
