Mitch and his high school rock band, The Lucky Tiger Grease Stick Band, are having their FIRST PUBLIC PERFORMANCE since 1975, when they performed for Gabe Kaplan of “Welcome Back, Kotter” fame. After receiving a huge response to the Parade article he wrote about the band’s reunion in a New Jersey garage last year, they’ve been invited to be the main entertainment for a fundraiser to benefit the Samost Jewish Family and Children’s Service. The event, which takes place Saturday, March 21st, received early local press in the Courier Post Online.
The Lucky Tiger Grease Stick Band includes Mitch’s longtime South Jersey pals Sandy Clyman, Perry Gold, Howard Hait, David Jaspan, Mark Joffe, Victor Mellul, and Marc Rosenthal.
As the Courier Post said:
“Rock on, guys.”
NOTE: the event will be held at the Jewish Community Center of Cherry Hill, NJ, on Springdale and Kresson Roads. It begins at 8:00 PM, and the Lucky Tiger Grease Stick Band will be performing at around 10:00 PM.
