About This Episode
On today’s Tuesday People episode, host Mitch Albom talks about The Present of Being Present, or, How to Pay Attention. We are living in a world rife with attention deficit. Phones, constant media influences, the internet, working from home. It’s easy to drift off during a conversation, when you see a notification pop up on your phone, watch or your inbox. It’s rare that two people sit in a room anymore and just…talk. No distractions, no interruptions, no screens – just good old-fashioned conversation. Focus in on today’s episode and learn the simple steps that will have you spending more meaningful, one-on-one time with the people you love.
I enjoy all your podcasts but I do not have this problem. I give the other person my attention whenever. I enjoy sitting and talking to relatives. I make the time. You have to resolve to make the time what ever it is. cell phones are not that important. Some are very addicted and cannot put it down at all. Having too much on ones plate is not good either. I like to make time for me and get the necessary things done so I have the time to listen when I need to. Life is too short to not listen.
