About This Episode
A chance encounter: That perfect moment in time when planets align. You’re walking in one direction, someone else is coming toward you from the other, and a look or an action brings you together for what might end up being one of the most memorable moments in your life. On this week’s episode of the Tuesday People podcast, host Mitch Albom shares a moment he had during a recent vacation in France that was, well, shall we say, “désastreux.” Listen to how it all unfolded on today’s episode, and keep your eyes open for those chance encounters that may cross your path and change your life forever.
I know about talking to strangers every time I go to work. I enjoy talking to strangers. No problem. Some are rude . I am so sorry for your mishap. I can imagine that you got pretty made at the teenage girl. It is too bad that she couldn’t apologize at all. I find that normal for a lot of people is being rude. They just do not know better. I am glad that you were wearing a helmet. Geez that could of been terrible if you hadn’t for sure. Heal fast and get better
I am a true believer in the positivity of chance encounters. We all have SOOO many daily opportunities to give and receive benefits from human interaction. Instead of “chance” we can live with “purpose.” Many would be shocked and surprised, but also truly fulfilled with an unexpected reward – love – from choosing to engage with others. Engage with purpose.
