About This Episode
Patricia Heaton, the Emmy Award–winning star of Everybody Loves Raymond, The Middle, and most recently, Carol’s Second Act, is one of TV’s most recognizable and beloved moms. This week, she joins Mitch Albom and the Tuesday People Podcast to talk about her book, “Your Second Act: Inspiring Stories of Reinvention.” Through her own second-act experience, Heaton became curious about other people’s stories of second-act transitions and ways to offer support in the process. In her new book, she shares wisdom from her own personal journey as well as insight from stories of numerous people across the country. From work to health, to love and more, the results are heartwarming, inspiring, and surprisingly relatable! You’ll learn that it’s never too late, or too early to stage your second act!
Lovely podcast and hopefully I get a second act. I have been thinking of that. I do enjoy volunteering. I can’t always do that as I have work and other things to get done. Never enough time but I try. This pandemic has changed the way we all think of things . For me I want to do a few things and not be overcome with fear however I still try not to let my guard down on this virus. I do so hope that the Radiothon can make a presence at the Somerset this year and also hope that something can be worked out for the Salvation Army. Maybe make up gift bags for the clients and see the clients in smaller groups to get a luncheon and gifts ect. Maybe not what it was always but it would have to be a bit different . I hope for that. I just hope for this pandemic to be gone sometime next year . It is frustrating.
