About This Episode
With the recent deaths of George Floyd and Ahmaud Arbery, we are once again, as a human race, challenged to face the issue of discrimination and what it means to treat all humans with dignity and equality. Morrie Schwartz had a lot to say about this subject, and we’ll share with you many conversations Mitch Albom had with his beloved professor about race, the power of protests, what motivates racism, and how we can open our hearts with love and compassion. And as always, the conversation continues in our Facebook group.

Such a shame to see outsiders with the protesters destroying businesses and looting. Some of these businesses will be lucky to be in business after the pandemic let alone seeing their business totally destroyed and robbed of contents. I know that protesting is a way to get their point across but doing so during a pandemic isn’t exactly a choice time. So many were so angry to begin with and then Floyd was killed by a cop so the anger sort of spilled over into a protest. People could vent and exercise their freedom. Something that was on hold during a stay at home order. So sad and most unfortunate but as I like to put it “All Lives Matter” It was a good subject to do a podcast on.
