About This Episode
“Forgive yourself first, then forgive others,” was an aphorism that professor Morrie Schwartz held dear, especially in his final days of life. In this week’s episode of the Tuesday People podcast, “Tuesdays With Morrie” author, Mitch Albom, and his co-host and producer Lisa Goich, discuss the topic of forgiveness. Do you have family or friendship issues that are lingering? What grudges are you holding on to? What forgiveness do you not want to extend? How bitter do you want to be? Step inside Morrie’s classroom and learn how to extend that olive branch and shed your regrets simply by saying, “I’m sorry.”
It frees yourself when you forgive. Always a good idea. Somethings will always stay broken no matter what you do. I have found that when you have spent years and years trying. There really isn’t a point to keep doing that. I move on but I would always make myself available for them if they needed something and took the time to talk to me.
