The Grand Traverse Pie Company was founded in 1996 by Mike and Denise Busley in Traverse City, Michigan. The original business is still operated by Mike and Denise. It strives to set the example and serve as the model from which all other Grand Traverse Pie Company shops evolve. The original Traverse City shop has been featured both regionally and nationally as a premier destination for great pies, which can now be shipped directly to you.

We are pie makers. First and foremost. Pie is a celebration of family and tradition, neatly and deliciously packaged in a flaky crust. Our passion is to re-create those memorable “Pie Moments” from long ago. Our bakers take great pride in crafting each pie by hand and baking them slowly until they are just right. The Somerset Collection in Troy, Michigan, is one of only a handful of luxury regional shopping centers in the country. Owned and managed by The Forbes Company of Southfield, Michigan, Somerset Collection offers 180 designer and lifestyle stores and restaurants and is anchored by four department stores.
Since its 1969 opening, Somerset has been expanded and remodeled several times and today covers 1.443 million square feet. Emagine Entertainment’s affiliates own and operate Cinema Hollywood in Birch Run MI, as well as Emagine Novi, Emagine Canton, Emagine Woodhaven and Emagine Rochester Hills.
