The Hallmark Hall of Fame production Have a Little Faith has been nominated for an NAACP Image Award for Outstand Television Movie, Mini-Series, or Dramatic Special. It shares the category with Five(Lifetime), Luther(BBC), The Least Among You(Showtime), and Thurgood(HBO). Anika Noni Rose also scored a nomination for Outstanding Actress, as well as one for outstanding supporting actress on Law & Order SVU.
The NAACP Image Awards air live on NBC on February 17th, 8/7c.
With thanks to donations from folks like you, collected through the A Hole in the Roof Foundation and the charity film premiere of Have a Little Faith, I Am My Brother's Keeper Chuch replaced more than 100 windows. The new windows will keep the church infinitely warmer, and will help cut down the heating bills.
A huge thanks to all who helped contribute and especially, Hansons Windows, which did an awesome job working through the holiday week (thank you, Chris, for overseeing the effort).
PROJECT: A family in need in the community will be surprised this Christmas when they are given the keys to a home through the "Working Homes for Working Families" Program at Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries! The home will be ready on Saturday for our Time to Help volunteers to unload the truck full of furniture, beds, dressers, tables, chairs, pots and pans, and basically everything for the interior of the home and set everything up for them to move in! If weather permits, we will be raking the leaves in the back yard as well
